Currently rated a 1700 on chess.com. I know a lot of you betas don't understand how to play the game, but that's okay they made checkers for a reason

I've always been intrigued by chess but never took the time to learn. Speaking of chess, has anyone read "The Art of Learning" by Andrew Waitzkin? It came recommended by a friend but I wasn't sure how much I would enjoy it. I'm so glad I pulled that trigger, it was really awesome.

I love poker too. The odd thing is, I play poker for $ and don't mind when I lose (unless I lose it stupidly).
I hate losing at chess. No money on the line, against anyone, ever. I'm pissed off now just thinking about losing!
