This would be another signing that a GM makes for no more than the sole purpose of saying that they addressed the need and made a move..

It's not good, it's not bad and it isn't going g to make a damn bit of difference.

The only available DE that's even worth mentioning is Za' Darius Smith, and at this point he is a situational passrusher also.

At this point the most effective thing this franchise could do is to find a way to aquire a competent dual threat HB for a young developing QB and offense as a whole.
