Great story. Im glad the kid got his wish, and had such a great moment in such a tormented life. These types of stories seem to get rarely noticed these days. I cant see past 10 comments, but can imagine what some assholes said. Its disgusting to know that no matter how great a moment can be, theres always jackasses out there that have to protest against it. But the positive outweighs the negative, so they can go **** themselves.

Incredible story.

That poor Kid is 10 years old and has a few weeks to live. All the sudden getting up for work on Monday morning doesn't seem so bad.

I gotta be the jerk here. While I feel empathy for the condition this kid is in, arent the Army basically hired killers, and cheap labor. I think he just seems them with their big guns, hummers and "protecting" America and sees only what a 10 year old is smart enough to comprehend. And dont say that the Army protects our freedom, theyr aint no one out there thats a threat to our freedom, they dont exist. Maybe for a day, but thats it. Anyone dumb enough to wanna be in the army should be let in.

How the hell can you state that the Army or any other branch Doesnt protect ours and your ass? Everyday there is a threat. If you truely believe in a fairytale world, go take a trip to the middle east and let it be known your American. The rest of us will know how that turns up when we see your kidnapped video on CNN. Absurd to say no threats. The kid is 10, loves the Army. Who cares why? What the hell did you want to be like when you were 10? A Meteorologist?

When i was 10, I wanted to be Michael Jordan. Love the kid, but hes not very smart, just like any other 10 year old, sorry, i pray for his soul. The only reason that other countries hate America and Americans, is beacuse America goes into their countries and sets up their governments, and then tells them how to run it. America sponsors right wing "democratic" military dictatorships all over the world. Its been true in Cuba in the past, Egypt not so long ago, Iraq, most of Latin America throughout history. If you dont believe this, learn about the history of the place where your living, go to Google and type in "Iran Contra", as easy as that. No threats to America.

Yeah, no threats to America. Good thing we hired Bin Laden to give NY a better skyline... And the fact remains, hes 10 years old, not 21. Your expecting him to take into account politics before hes even gotten laid? I know the policies this goverment sponsers, and just like Castro, we also supported Osama Bin Laden. I dont approve of the shit, and lean more to the side that says let them kill eachother. Hes 10, weeks to live, why place a black cloud on a harmless event that lit up his tormented life?

No threats, really? Try Googling '9/11' sometime. By the way, Raegan was trying to secure the release of US hostages with that 'deal'. Twisting details to support your argument does not qualify your statements as being fact. Oh, and stop shitting in my thread. No threats to America, the only Reason bin Laden became a threat was because we sponsored him with guns and money. Im talking about the countrys we dont arm first. The ones we do might be a threat for about a day, thats it. This war on terror, is exactly the opposite, its a war on us, the middle class, billions of dollars spent fighting fear, billions of dollar that will not go to healthcare, education, social security, evrything thats fucked up right now. He doesnt get to grow up, i feel bad for him. But I feel good for him, cuz ignorance is bliss

On Iran Contra you missed the part, where Oliver North brought in tons of cocaine in airplanes.

Well after some minor research, and I stress the minor part, the red ranger was the one that got into porn, *** porn that is. And apparently the black ranger got arrested at some point for beating his woman and the yellow ranger became a drug addict. Hey, you know what I just realized? The black ranger was a black guy and the yellow ranger was an Asian chick. Funny stuff.
