100K Jobs Without a College Degree

My neighbor makes about 80K as a pastry chef, and independent sales reps/manufacturing reps should be on that list. For those interested in fitness, personal training is still up there as a top $$ maker. That's been a stable profession since the 80's. Who would have thought a nuclear power reactor operator does not require any college, only specialized training.

A lot of people who are "nukes" in the Navy (which is an enlisted position) go on to make great money after they get out. Sales reps can definitely make a shit load of money if you are in the right field and good. Personal training surprises me.

I hit the right field at the right time in the right state, was a building supplier/manufacturing rep in Florida from 96'-05'. Then the bottom of course fell out, but if you can sell all you need is the product knowledge. I could sell widgets, doesn't matter so long as there is demand. Personal training does and does not surprise me, when you break down what they charge per client all they need are lots of clients. The fact people are still spending $$ on trainers in this economy is what surprises me.
