Some people on this site like to say things like the 1983 Philadelphia 76ers are better than the 1996 Bulls (which is crazy). But how would they go up against each other in a 7 game series? Whatifsports.com has the answer. I ran a simulation of the series and here is what I got.

Fantastic! I remember in 1995, ESPN ran some computerized simulation of the 1994 49ers vs. 1985 Bears and they had the 49ers winning.

I guess you can simulate till you turn blue in the face, but we will never know, will we?

Kush and I argued this out already and have moved on, and here you come with a website that proves nothing...

well keep going, if that keeps the BG whining to a minimum, so be it.

Re:1996 Bulls vs. 1983 76ers/ Moses Malone

I have no idea who would win this thing but I will say this...

Moses Malone has to be one of the most under-rated great players ever.

He won 3 MVP's but with 2 different teams. How many guys have done that? Kareem...maybe Wilt...i don't remember anyone besides that...(anyone know anyone else?)

He won his first MVP when he was 23 years old. By age 26 he had 2.

As great as Kobe is, it took him until his 12th year in the league when he was almost 30 to get his first MVP. Moses had 3 before he was 27! Why doesn't anyone list Moses in the top 10 of all-time? I think he belongs there.

1 Finals MVP to go with his three season MVP's (and darn close of getting a fourth season MVP in 84-85!).

He didn't just give you the Tim Duncan ordinary "20 and 10; Burgers and Fries" double-double (20 and 10; 20 and 10; 20 and 10; 20 and 10...zzzzzzz). He gave you 24 and 15. He gave you 31 and 14. He gave you 27 and 15.

Just a great GREAT player.

Though Rodzilla could guard just about anyone despite size, drunk or sober, i don't know how he could have guarded Moses.

Still, i can't say who would win for sure. 2 great teams.
