20 years ago yesterday

The greatest director of all time, Stanley Kubrick, died. Why must the good die so young? Just think of all the great movies he could have made between then and now. 90% (or roughly half) of the movies that have come out since his death have been complete crap. You could say that 20 years ago was the day the movies died.

I meant to post this yesterday but I spent most of the last two days mourning.
