what, another prolific scoring undersized shooting guard? doubt it. the key to victory is 4 more inches.

Why would the Warriors trade Ellis, he has been great this year. And if they were going to dump him, they had good offers over the trade deadline.

They say he doesn´t fit next to Curry. And before the season Ellis said he doesn´t want to play with Curry!

They seem to fit as well as two scoring sgs can. Both are successful, I doubt Nelson trades either, they just need a pf. Besides, why would we want to go back to a small back court, I was told 4 inches was holding us back from the title? Seiously, though, I don't Rose and Ellis as a good fit. Neither can shoot threes combined with deng has absolutely no three point shooters.

sam smith has a man crush on monte. this isn't new. he's been suggesting it for over a year.

well.. i have a pretty simple answer to the question. NO! NO! NO! NO! he cant shoot. he's not a pg and he's not a defender. also he plays the same damn position as rose. we'd have two roses on the court. yeah, monte is a sg, but he has the ball in his hand and likes drive and kick. screw that.

Monta can score and he's having a good year, but doubt he'll put up those numbers outside of GS system.

Bringing in Monte isn't the kind of move the Bulls are likely to do. As several have stated, he'd be an undersized 2-guard for us, and the Bulls apparently don't like undersized 2-guards very much...

I think Ellis can go with no problem. They have another scorer/ballhandler in Watson to play with Curry.

Curry is better than Ellis right now all around and Ellis is a little bit better than the guy we had, though not as compatible with Rose. Gordon was more compatible with Rose. Ideal SG to play with Rose is Johnson.

If only he were a few years younger, I'd totally agree with you.

Johnson's age is definitely a problem...if Johnson settled for a 3 year deal (but he won't)...that would be great. But from a tactical standpoint, there is not a more compatible shooting guard in the league right now...

how do you guys feel about anthony morrow? to me hed be a better fit next to rose than ellis. hes also a warrior.

hes still young and one of the most accurate shooters around right now. hes got a high fg% for someone that shoots as many 3s as he does. whats his status and why didnt more people pursue that guy?

not really an amazing 3 pt shooter, a bad defender, old, and works mainly through isolation. yeah. no more compatible right now.

i'll stick with hinrich's 9 million and whatever we give david lee over johnson's contract. With that said, ray allen, rudy fernandez, gordon, harden, ginobli, eric gordon, azibuke/morrow all seem like better fits. In terms of talent, johnson is better than all of them, but a lot of those other guys are way cheaper/younger. Fernandez has only had one of other year in the nba. He's being regulated to the role of back up guard in portland. i'd like to see what he can do outside of that system. he's had flashes of brilliance and several tyrus thomas moments. Harden should be starting in okc, but they need the defense in the starting lineup.

So you don't want Wade either I take it, he is a year younger. Then you mention guys who are far inferior (Ben Gordon, Rudy Fernandez (who?, are you serious?)) and then you mention Ray Allen and Manu, who are ancient....you argument makes absolutely no damn sense whatsoever...

your argument was that he's a better fit. all of the above are better fits. you meant he's more talented. i suggest you buy a dictionary.

No...I suggest you buy a television, some glasses, or get Tiger Woods laser eye surgery done so that you can know what you are talking about by actually watching the game and making sensible assessments of these people's games without sounding like you're snorting carpet lint. And how can you tell me what I mean, when you seem so ill informed concerning this subject?

Joe Johnson is at least adequate in every area and he would be the Bulls number one post option if they don't get Bosh or other players like him...

Tell me exactly how Rudy Fernandez, Ginobli and Allen are better fits than Johnson when Johnson does so much more than they can on the court? Give me a break man...Wade is the most talented SG available in the summer, Johnson is the best fit...I know what I meant
