We managed to sponsor Reid's trip to Disney. I lost 20 lbs and actually ran the Milwaukee 5k event with a turtle-like time of 34 minutes, I need to lose another 20lbs to get under 30 minutes. Our best runner ran it 22 minutes, might have to Tonya Harding him next year to slow him down.

That's awesome Tim.

Please don't find me ignorant but I'm assuming Reid is your son? I believe you mentioned something about this a while back but for the life of me can't remember what the back story is.

No Reid is a complete stranger.

I got involved with Make A Wish many years ago. As fate would have it my grandson, Anthony, was diagnosed with leukemia and during the dark days got a Wish vacation. Fortunately he is completely cured , and he wanted to start a team to sponsor other sick kids through Make a Wish.

The team and sponsorship continues to grow so we are able to generate enough money to sponsor a severely stricken child's Wish each year.

GREAT news!

Nothing pulls at my heart strings more than children suffering from oftentimes fatal diseases, it's just not fair. That Brian Leetch commercial on NHLN still upsets me.
