X-Box 360 & PS3 Bundles
Looking to purchase a video game console this upcoming holiday season? You might want to hold off until Black Friday as new information has leaked about both Sony's PlayStation 3 and Microsoft's Xbox 360 holiday bundles.

According to leaked photos going around the internet, Sony will be offering two new bundles:

160GB PlayStation 3 with Little Big Planet 2, Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One and a 30-day free pass to PlayStation Plus for $249.99 (photo)
320GB PlayStation 3 with Uncharted 3 for $299.99 (photo)

Sony is also rumored to be releasing a new PlayStation Move bundle including Killzone 3, Resistance 3, a Sharpshooter controller, one PlayStation Move remote and the PlayStation Eye all for only $150.

Microsoft, who revamps their holiday offering every year, will also have two bundles this year:

250GB Xbox 360 Elite with a Kinect, Kinect Adventures, Carnival Games: Monkey See, Monkey Do and a 3-month pass to Xbox Live Gold for $399 (photo)
250GB Xbox 360 Elite with Fable III and a digital-download of Halo Reach for $299

Additionally, Microsoft is planning on releasing a dashboard update on Black Friday based on their Silverlight platform. The update will feature increased Kinect functionality, better social media integration (Facebook especially) and the ability to stream TV directly to your Xbox 360 console.

All bundles are rumored to debut on Black Friday.

Best Buy Free Shipping
It looks like Walmart isn't the only retailer with tricks up their sleeves this holiday season. Less than a day after Walmart announced their Christmas Price Guarantee, Best Buy has announced they will be offering free shipping on all items (with no minimum purchase) through BestBuy.com this holiday season.

Free shipping begins November 1 and lasts through December 27 with guaranteed Christmas delivery offered on orders placed before 11am EST on Tuesday, December 20. Additionally, if you're ordering a gift, the recipient can return or exchange the gift to a Best Buy retail store between November 13 and January 24.

BestBuy previously offered free shipping on orders of $25 or more, but could add up to $15 in shipping fees on orders that didn't hit that threshold.

Over the years we've seen retailers really start to embrace online Black Friday sales and this looks to be a major step in the right direction. It'll definitely be interesting to see how other internet retailers (especially Amazon, Target and Walmart) respond.

Thanks for Visiting and Tell Your Friends!

Walmart Price Guarantee
Earlier yesterday, Walmart announced their new price-matching policy for the upcoming holiday season and it sounds impressive. Called the Christmas Price Guarantee, if you purchase an eligible product at Walmart between November 1 and December 25 and later find it to be priced lower at another store, Walmart will refund the difference in the form of a gift card.

The price guarantee seems to be the latest of Walmart's efforts to shift focus back to their "Everyday Low Prices" mantra. The caveat? Walmart will not price-match internet retailers and Black Friday ads/items are one of the exclusions to the policy. Other restrictions include products with gift-card bonuses, limited time or quantity offers, and percentage off ads. Additionally, to quality as an eligible product, the competitor store must have the product in stock at the time of price-match.

While the Christmas Price Guarantee will protect against most minor price reductions through the winter holiday season, if there's an especially lucrative offer at another retailer, your price matching chances of success are probably going to be slim.

In addition to the new price guarantee, Walmart has revamped their Layaway program and is offering zero-percent interest on in-store and online purchases made in November and December 2011 (with the Walmart credit-card) if you pay off the amount in full within 6 months.

TARGET SALE ($200 32" HDTV)
Some of the hotter deals are:

Xbox 360 4GB Console with $50 Gift Card - $199.99
Playstation 3 160GB Console w/ $50 Gift Card - $249.99
Acer 11.6" Laptop w/ 2GB RAM, 320GB HDD, Webcam & HDMI Out - $197.00
And just like that, back out-of-stock.
Westinghouse VR-3215 720p 60Hz LCD HDTV - $197.00

Target's $197 Laptop and HDTV

Target, not a usual participant in the big first weekend of November sales, has apparently decided to jump head-first into the fray this year as the front page of their upcoming weekly ad has leaked... and it's very impressive.

Featuring only two items and none of the typical "Hotter than Black Friday" claims, Target is letting the $197 price-tag speak for itself. Both the Westinghouse VR3215 32" 720p 60Hz LCD HDTV and Acer A0722-0473 11.6" Notebook will be on sale for $197 this Sunday, November 6. No word to if these will also be available online, but we're not holding our breath. Both the TV and laptop will certainly sell out quickly, so be sure to get to Target early this Sunday if you're interested.

Resourceful users were able to track down the manufacturer links to both the Westinghouse VR3215 32" LCD's and Acer A0722-0473 11.6" Notebook's technical specifications pages.

The Westinghouse VR3215 looks like the standard 32" 720p LCD HDTV, with a contrast ratio of 2000:1, 2 HDMI, 1 component and 1 composite input. At $197, it represents the one of the lowest prices we've ever seen a 32" LCD HDTV; and it comes from a mid-range brand.

The Acer Notebook features the 1GHz AMD Fusion C-60 Dual Core Processor, 2GB DDR3 Memory, 320GB Hard Drive, AMD Radeon HD 6290 Graphics, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Webcam, HDMI Out, 6-cell Battery, Windows 7 Home Premium and a 11.6" LCD Display.

While certainly not top of the line, it's a great value at $200 as it features the newly released 40nm Fusion C-60 processor and a battery capable of up to 7 hours of battery life. The only thing we'd recommend is to pick up a 4GB DDR3 SODIMM stick for $21.99 at Amazon to make the laptop run a bit more smoothly.

Target's sale absolutely blows away Walmart's Super Saturday, so it'll be interesting to see how not only Walmart responds, but whether Best Buy and Amazon also decide to throw their hats in the ring this weekend. We'll be sure to keep you updated!

Kohl's 30% Off + $10 for Every $50 + Free Shipping Sale!

Beginning today, Kohl's is starting their 30% Off for Kohl's Cardholders + Kohl's Cash promotion!

The deal gets even sweeter for Kohl's cardholders as the PGO15OFF coupon can be combined with your NOVSAVINGS coupon for orders greater than $100! That's more than a 40% total savings on already discounted items!

Best Buy Door Busters
Best Buy's Black Friday Doorbuster Sneak Peek!

We knew today would be busy, but we had no idea it would be this hectic! Best Buy has just released a sneak-peek of their Black Friday doorbuster deals along with seven online-only Thanksgiving Day deals!

The Black Friday door busters are:

Dynex 24" 1080p LCD HDTV - $79.99
Samsung 15.6" Laptop w/ Pentium Processor, 4GB RAM& 320GB Hard Drive - $299.99
Samsung Stratosphere 4G LTE(Verizon) - Free w/ 2-Year Service Plan
X-Men: First Class (Blu-ray) - $9.99
Green Lantern (Blu-ray) - $9.99
Fast Five (Blu-ray) - $9.99

None of the online-only items have their prices announced yet, but we're sure it's not too long before they appear.

Target Door Busters
We just posted a 12-item Target Black Friday Doorbuster preview and we're working on securing the advertisement scans.

Many of the items in this preview were also featured on the Target's doorbuster page from late October, so we won't be surprised if the other items find their way into the final Black Friday ad.

We've highlighted some of the hottest deals below:

Element ELDFT404 40" 1080p 60Hz LCD HDTV - $265
Westinghouse VR-4625 46" 1080p 60Hz LCD HDTV - $298
Amazon Kindle Keyboard 3G w/ Special Offers - $85
Nikon L105 12.1MP Digital Camera w/ 3" LCD Screen - $99.99
Xbox 360 4GB Console - $139.99

Considering the amount of hot items relative to the small size of the preview, Target may very well repeat as the best Black Friday ad this year.

I read the other day that if you have a visa card and purchase a product w/ it, and the price changes within 2 weeks of purchase, VISA will refund your money to cover the difference.

At last check, this actually included black friday sales. I'll see if I can find an article.

I worked Black Friday at a toy store once. That sucked.

I've also worked retail on Christmas Day. That sucked almost as much. The store was incredibly busy.

I might go to Sports Authority (wonder if the vendors here will be doing some sort of sale?) and pick up some gear from the teams, for me and to gift.

But yeah, USA s becoming a consumer nation (I don't mean that in a positive way) if it ain't already.
