No rookies?

I think the AL MVP should still go to Jose Bautista.

Shit, I forgot about rookies. My bad, I'm sick so my mind isn't here. I think Bautista as a good chance to win it, but Granderson has meant more.

Granderson has had much better teammates who can get on base and be driven in and who can drive him in, so his statistics are impressive but a bit inflated in that context. You can argue that there's more pressure to be great on a shitty team than there is to be great on a great team.

ROY-wise, I probably give the AL award to Hellickson and the NL award to Freddie Freeman, but I'm sure there are similarly good choices or even better ones.

People are sayin' Bautista, a lot are now. Verlander's last game may have hurt him.

I wish one bad game didn't hurt MVP candidates, but alas it's the way people think.

I think Verlander would be a deserving choice though.

If a computer were voting on awards, i do think Kemp and Kershaw would win the MVP and Cy-Young, but it's humans who vote and they will not let two players from such a bad team to win both awards. I do think Kershaw wins Cy-Young because he pitched so great on a bad team is a major plus for him but Kemp wont win because his team wasn't a winner and he played in no high pressure games.

i have hard time giving CY and MVP to players on same team when team didnt even come close to playoffs espicially players on playoff teams deserve it. i say Braun or Fielder deserve MVP

I really disagree with the AL MOY - Leyland? They were the favorites to win the division and when u have all that offense and Verlander it kind of hard not to do well. I dont understand any other candidates than Maddon
