Curiously, is Paul George simply enough for Indiana to get back into the playoffs? To me the team got a lot weaker and lost their defensive edge.

I'm thinking Monta will help them out a bunch. They won't be a great team imo, but they were for whatever reason in the running last year without Paul George fully healthy so I think they have a decent shot. West will be a big loss for them imo, more so than Hibbert. We'll see how that Paul George at PF thing works though.

Thing is this year I think Miami is much better, and you have other teams that were also in play last year still with Charlotte and Boston. Thus I think Pacers just miss out, but we'll see.

Yeah I'm thinking it'll be another dogfight for the last spot. Probably 3-4 teams will have a shot at it again.

They almost made the playoffs without him. They got weaker defensively but their offense will get better with Monta Ellis and Paul George returning. Budinger is an interesting piece and so is their rookie center Myles Turner who has shown signs of being a rim protector and has three-point shooting range.

MKG is out for the year it seems like. Not the biggest loss when you consider they added Batum. But nobody on their roster really stands out as a star player. Their depth is limited and they have some pretty mediocre starters (Al Jeff, Kemba, Batum, Lin, Zeller). Boston has some nice depth with pretty mediocre starters. But I think the Pacers will be better than Charlotte. Boston is more of a toss-up.

I say we win 53 and finish second in the East. 5th overall behind 1. Cavs 2. Spurs 3. Golden State 4. Clippers 5. Bulls 6. Thunder 7. Atlanta 8.

Can't imagine the Bulls being better than the Thunder or Rockets. Both teams can be argued as better than the Bulls at every single position except perhaps PF with the Rockets and C with the Thunder.

We live in a world where Derrick Rose is not considered better than Ty Lawson or Patrick Beverley..what has the world come to?

Until he plays many games at a consistent level and stops getting injured, that's just the fact of life.

Bulls will win games they shouldn't, Bulls will lose games they shouldn't. Lebron will beat them in the playoffs, again.

Garfield Goose will stay pat at the trade deadline, again. The usual posters will flip their shit on it. When you suggest perhaps trading a guy like Taj or Noah or even Rose, you'll be called an idiot because you can't trade away those guys - but a move definitely has to be made.

The team will have gotten a year older and made more three point shots, and the window will nearly be closed.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
