Interesting.............I don't see it at this time, but Scourton is a DE Dennis Allen would love.

Safety round 2? Far too many prime draft picks in the secondary are already a problem under Poles (especially with the sorely lacking attention on the DL and OL), and while Brisker isn't always healthy/dependable--a 2nd round pick sitting on the bench waiting for him or Byard to get hurt just so he can see the field is a waste of resources. If you're drafting a S in the top 40 like that, he's got to start right away. Who in the defensive starting back-5 is he booting? Some DCs run 3 safety sets, but that means Gordon has to be CB2.

Connerly won't be there at 41.

Love Jonah Monheim and Yahya Black. I think Black will rise between now and April despite the mock draft simulator's present algorithm.

Draft a blocking TE like Gavin Bartholomew or Kyle Moorhead late so your highly paid TE1 doesn't have to constantly block is smart. Complete waste of Kmet and money to keep on with him as a 6th blocker constantly.

I don't love the idea of taking defense with our first two picks when the O-line needs all the help it can get. If we already had Trey Smith and another FA starter in place then I could get on board though. Conerly and Monheim could compete for starting jobs.

Releasing Byard should save $7 mil this year.

Overall, Nick Emmanwori is a physically imposing prospect due to his rare combination of size and athleticism. At the next level, he projects as a modern hybrid linebacker, similar to Ravens' Kyle Hamilton's playstyle.

His sideline-to-sideline motor consistently places him in a position to make a play on the football. His speed, quickness, and fluidity will enable him to succeed as a two-high safety and inside the box. His size and athleticism will allow him to be effective against tight ends, big X receivers (for example, Mike Evans), and running backs in space. As long as Emmanwori continues to develop his coverage skills, refine his footwork, and enhance his full-field vision, his growth potential is impressive.

Also, just a note I haven't had time to go through all the senior bowl notes, so will probably have another update later.

The left side of that line will get destroyed.

Good try tho! At least we have a safety!

You don't know that. Trey Smith was a 6th round pick. Thanks for the input though.

Hard to give any reasonable feedback given nothing is said about FA, so I'll refer to post #15.
