This is probably just a sign that Lebron is going to Chicago or Miami (probably Miami) where the #23 is already retired.

They need to do something because right now it's too weird with Miami retiring Jordan's number when he never played for them.

The Heat even retired Dan Marino's number. How weird is that? They need some history there it looks like.

Right but I meant he is more likely to go to Miami than here. They have a better shot at winning.

i disagree. wade's always injured, and then all they have is a good defensive pg and a tweener forward in beasley. i think that lebron would be much more successful here

I actually like that Miami retired MJ's number. He's the greatest player in the history of sports, and he is one of those guys (like Brett Favre) where they're number is significant as well.
