No. I was one of many posters who thought they were a bit overrated and were going to lose out to the Niners in the division. You act like I was the only person who said that.

I guess annoying the fanboys has it's price. Oh well, I'll live.

Lol holy fuk you're sensitive m8. I called you out on a shitty prediction as a joke and all of a sudden I'm an annoyed fanboy? WOT. Micky your obsession with Jay is starting to become cringeworthy.

I'm talking about the fanboys in general, not you in particular. You're the one being sensitive. I must insist you stop that.

Either way...they both are doing a good job of proving your point

What point is that exactly? That Mick does nothing but whine about QB's on here 24/7 like a broken record?

We get it, he's a huge Kaepernick fanboy and thinks Cutler sucks. WE GET IT. Do we really need a new thread repeating the same tired argument every fucking day?

If you want to cry about QB's and act like they're the only determining factor in the outcomes of games fine. If you want to make a prediction that Kaepernick is going to be the best player in the league for the next 7 years awesome. Just don't expect not to get mocked for it when you do nothing but mock everyone else who doesn't agree with your Special person ideas.

Kaepernick went most of the season with most of his weapons in street clothes. Stop the excuses. Cutler simply isn't a winner.

The 49ers have a MUCH better defense, stop playing stupid.

bearmick's hatred for Jay Cutler is greater than their love for the Bears.

That was definitely not mick's point.

But...they can have a major effect on a teams outcome...take yesterday's Car/SF game.

He better be. The Bears offense outscored the 49ers offense this season.

You'd hope that would happen...the NFC Nort defenses sucked this year

And comprehension is your friend:

You can select a DL, LB, and DB in the 2nd/3rd/4th.

But I was only referring to the 14th overall pick dumb ass:

Bearin' Down said:
So, in your opinion, the Bears should ignore the defensive line, the linebackers, and the secondary, and select a QB at 14? You want them to do this despite Jay Cutler being good enough to get the job done? Sure, he may not be elite, but he can still get it done.

You may want to reconsider the above post especially considering it was a question to BearMick regarding only the 14th overall pick. Do you think its a good idea to ignore our holes at d-line, linebacker, and in the secondary at 14 and instead take a qb?

Then what is the point here?

That the Bears need to draft a QB at #14 because Tom Brady was a 6th round draft pick and he beat a #1 pick this weekend? Or that we need to draft the next Wilson or Kap in the 2nd or 3rd because they're playing next weekend (thanks in large part to having the best defenses in the league)?

Or is this just another thread for him to vent and whine like a ***** because he feels the Bears are doomed to fail with Cutler at QB?

How would you get all those players with the 14th pick besides trading down?

Clearly you wouldn't. You could get ANY of those positions though. That is, unless of course, you drafted a backup QB in round 1. Which begs the question: is the 5th best QB in this draft really a better value at 14 than the 1st or second best, DE, DT, LB, CB, or S?

I think mick's point was directed at the posters who are constantly saying that drafting a QB would be a stupid move. You can argue mick's post has another agenda behind it, but the point still stands...you don't need the overall #1 pick in order to find a QB that can lead a team to the playoffs and to the Conference Championship early in their careers.

I'll be upset if we don't draft a QB at all. McCown won't be here forever. We've seen arm strength isn't need to run Trestman's system. Smart decisive reads, quick progression, and anticipation. We can find a QB that has those assests. He doesn't need to be a starter but we do need a backup even in the event McCown re-signs for a year or two.

you are aware that the Bears have more than just the 14th pick...it doesn't matter if you were referring to only the 14th pick, the reality of the situation is the Bears not only have rounds 2-7 to draft the needs on the defense, but they also have that magical thing called free agency. So believe it or not, the Bears could have drafted a QB at the 14th overall pick and still address the defense through the 6 other picks they have and even grab some proven veterans.....dumb ass
