Will be my 3rd D97 show, I just hope the cellist is actually there this time.

I'm not too familiar with Agents of Mercy, but always good to see the guys from the Flower Kings.

Anyone is welcome to buy me a beer.

Agents of Mercy is a side project with a couple of guys from the Flower Kings and some guys from other Swedish progressive bands.

District 97 is a pretty new band out of Chicago.

They are young, really talented, and their VERY impressive debut album came out last year.

That was a good time. Walked in early and was treated to half hour souncheck/jam session.

Cellist again not with D97. I hear she's on pretty much permanent hiatus. She does have her real job with CSO, but I was still bummed.

Got to see some friends I don't often see and had really nice chats with the Swedish guys.

No, Bri, I'm not Swedish.

I just know a handful of Swedish musicians a friend used to work for.

They all speak English by the way.
