I would still like to see online franchise for NHL 11.
I know it's and 82-game season as opposed to the 13/16 college and NFL. But NHL games are short and sweet. I could easily find 10-15 people that could commit to an online NHL franchise.
The best part about hockey games is that you can play short games (5 min periods) and still get realistic results. My average NHL games is about 20 mins. If there's a lot of stoppages, maybe 24-27.
But if I want to get a realistic result, say in an NBA game, I have to play 8 or 9 min. quarters. and that ends up being a 45-50 min. game.
So in the time it takes to play a long NBA or NFL game, I can play almost three games of NHL.
That's why it's always been easy for me to finish entire NHL seasons without any simming.
That is why I'd like to see online franchise in NHL.
