The Fire look for three more points on the homestand before fitting the road for Columbus. With a win, the Mike Magee FC could move within 5 points of the Revs and Crew and within 7 of 5th place Sporting Kansas City. Meanwhile, the Rapids aim to distance themselves from 7th place Vancouver and jump both the Galaxy and Sounders to move into forth place.

Magee and Berry for the win, Berry redeemed himself after allowing a breakaway goal and Magee scored on the PK.

Funny part was when he gave up that ball to Brown, all I could think of was his debut against Chicas USA and how he headed in one later to make amends. I didn't say anything out loud or online for fear that it would be too jinxy. And then, lo and behold, he goes and does it. Fantastic stuff.

In the post-game conference, Klopas called his outing tremendous and stated that, despite his age, the team/he is never worried about how he'll make it through the rest of the game because they know him really well and know that he doesn't let it get to him. He does seem good a rebounding from his mistakes for sure.
