We want your guys thoughts on Lou Piniella the manager in the Hall of Fame? Initial thoughts?

He's in the top 15 in wins all time, has a World Series, multiple playoff apperances. Do you guys feel he's a lock? Should go in? Shouldn't?

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  2. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Fire
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Chicago State Cougars
  2. DePaul Blue Demons
  3. Illinois-Chicago Flames
  4. Loyola Ramblers
  5. Northern Illinois Huskies
  6. Northwestern Wildcats
He was a great player too, though lack of power may mean that he may not be able to get in as a player, but he definitely should as a manager.

He'll never get in as a player, yeah, that's a no brainer.

Yes, probably as a manager. Although he did have a pretty good career as a player, as well.

Should he and will he are 2 different questions. I tend to lean towards not putting him into the hall. WHile he ahs won a lot of games and does have a World Series to his name, his list of failures is just as long (I know you lose more than youwin but there were failures that nag at my thought process and not enough Titles to ease that, and i'm not just counting with the Cubs). In answer to will he, I do believe that he will.
