J.R. Smith scored 66 points in a win over Qingdao in the CBA on Wednesday, making a ridiculous 14-of-18 shots from 3-point land. Smith's uncanny ability to make tough long-range shots is well documented, and he just increased his league-leading 33.9 ppg average. He added eight rebounds and six steals and continues to produce in China....
When he puts his mind to it, he can do just about anything....6 steals?????who said the man can't ddefend??

Yeah I know going to say,"but but but that was against chinese player".....and I say 66 points in the CBA is like 33 points in the NBA....and 6 steals is 3 steals......still very good numbers....and SMITH IS GOOD AT STEALING THE BALL WHICH LEADS TO FASTBREAK POINTS BY HIM OR ONE OF HIS TEAMMATES..POINTS IN THE PAINT KILLED US TONIGHT AGAINST PHILLY.

If you think those kinds of skill can't help the Bulls a lot, then it is you who are crazy and insane..

Derrick Rose lives dangerously having to do all the scoring in the last 4 minutes of most games..And it dangerous for Rose's health to have to be pointguard, and the main guy to have to core in the paint under the basket against players 6 or more inches taller than him..It would be nice to have another swingman to take that burden off him as well..
How can you not help but to worry about Rose getting seriously hurt?? Smith can provide a lot of relief, from a health standpoint for Rose who is quite frankly exausted.

Why the Obamas???? I swear to God I'm not trolling......Jr Smith is playing incredible ball overeas.....66 points really happened ...again.......he can flat out score, period and in so many ways and not just in China...Talent is talent..........I'm just laying down facts and I truely feel strongly that he can put us over the top if givn the chance....its worth the risk bro.....how can anyone disagree with factual stats on paper that this guy produces offensively???? I just don't understand....do you guys want the Bulls and Rose to get help or continue watching Derrick Rose overexert and exhaust himseelf on a nightly basis......Derrick Rose is no secret and the best defenders will be put on him always.......Prizbilla?????give me a fucking break.....how does he help????we don't need another rebounder and defender at center position that can't score.....Noah and Asik are capable of that..........Boozer, well that's another story but we got Taj, and Deng will be healthy again to take most frontcourt defense assignments......I'm just telling it like it is....Give me some credit for my consistancy..

THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT 33 PLUS POINTS AND 6 steals a game are the equivelant of 16 plus points a game and 2 to 3 steals in the NBA out of Smith...potentially more with his new found confidence he is building up over and China...In a way China is one of the best things that happened to him...he's working on his game and will appreciate the NBA a hell of a lot more when he returns.....especially if he gets his way, which is to be on a contending team like the Bulls with a vacancy still at the 2guard position on the Bulls........Hamilton does a good job, but you definately can't depend on him even being suited up to play....Playoffs will be here sooner than later...

I think JR Smith could help out the Bulls a lot, but I don't know how much value you can put on his stats in China.

none Andre Emmit averaged 33 a few years ago in china

also the rebounding stats are really flawed the Chinese league imo is like semi pro ball or HS. The competition and talent level is really bad.

Woody Paige said on ESPN that J.R. Smith definitely coming to the Bulls.

Hell, even if he only plays once every 10 games that would be more than what we're getting from Hamilton. And this is coming from someone who is no fan of Smith.

I usually try to give Boozer a break, but is anyone thinking maybe we should've amnestied Boozer and just signed Kenyon Martin when he became available?

Should woulda coulda......but what are we going to do now is all that matters....They are both available and id see having either one of them being a great benifit to Rose and the team.......

Better than this Stewy Princessbilla clown that miami or chicago are considering signing.
We already have Scalabrine..and I can personally say id take scally over prysbilla any day...and that says a lot.....

Pryzbilla will sit and warm the bench in a suit with Hamilton....
No logic in signing pryzzy.....

Jr Smith or Pryzbilla?
Anyone who'd choose pryzbilla shoots down all credibility as a rational thinking human being. :dealwithit:

I would love jr smith because he's a small addition that could pay off however I don't like his additude and would worry about chemistry between him and tibbs and others
