After I retired I was playing great. Then I went back to work and my game declined due to lack of practice. Started making time to work on my short game 70 yards and in and it paid off today... 34 front 35 back... 2 under par this morning.
Birdies on 4/10 with 16 pars...

A pro would drop 63s on my course left and right.
I'm usually mid to high 70s.

Any recommendations for me golf? I suck and want to be pretty decent. And man those guys my age in their 20s live the life!!

Lessons are a good idea. Ensure your grip and swing are decent.
Then it's just practice and playing. stay smooth... consistency is key.
Don't spend a ton on equipment. A pro could shoot par with a set of dunlaps.
