ESPN2 at 8PM. I have a bit of a busy day tomorrow, have to travel back home, parent's anniversary (have to watch the younger brothers, awful), MLB trade deadline coverage, and Church, but hoping I can still see most of this game.

Magee is the Fire's rep.

Potential expansion update, likely not announcement, tomorrow.

Orlando City in KC lobbying right now, and owners holding meeting before game. Beckham/Claure not present.

Shaky early with the Strootman 4th minute goal. Settling down since then.

Still Roma is out if form and looks way better

True.

Looking forward to Garber interview, say he has an announcement (Orlando City SC?) and will talk Chivas USA (racism/discrimination against whites scandal)

MLS announced 4 expansion teams by 2020 (in addition to NYCFC 2015)!

"If" they find anything to have been handled wrong by the organization, the league will take appropriate action.

Everyone looked fairly disinterested in the event, but Roma looked class above the MLS team. But then again, if you took the 'best' of an entire league and gave them 2 days to practice together, what do you really expect them to do to a high level club where most of the players are returning and already used to one another?

I think the most ardent MLS fans would rather either do away with this glorified friendly at this time of the season (possibly play it at another time), or revert back to the East vs. West format. I fall in the latter, but I would like it played as a 'winter classic' sort of thing--I'm not familiar with it really, but sort of like the NFL pro-bowl.

Ya, I think it needs to be changed too, by pitting an "All-Star Team", familiar with each other or not, against an international club team, it is basically saying "We know we are inferior to the top leagues in Europe", and its just not a good impression to leave, especially when those players after 2 days of training lose, for not everyone in the media or potential new MLS fans will recognize that.

I would argue though that its working. The attendance, the atmosphere. It was a whole week event. For the most part a success. Its only the 3rd time theyve lost and the other two were to United.

Personally I like this format, and make it appointment TV to watch this all-star game.
