Sounds about right,

70-92 or so.

What a joke, not even a solid 5th starter or a 2nd base guy....

Even MLB cannot schedule correctly....now watch what happens on April Fools Day....snow.

Right, Cashner should never be given a chance because he of a chance he won't be a solid 5th starter. Really, he's what you'd expect from a number 5 right now.

I'd love to get Pujols....but I'd also love to get Fielder and spread out the money we would save (by not getting Pujols) and shore up some other gaps...

The only way we lose next off-season is if we not only don't get Pujols, but don't do anything of note in FA.

Let's just sign Jesus, then we'll never lose.

He'll come back as soon as we win a ring...

Looks like we're gonna be safe another season.

I don't look into ST record at all, just individual player performance.

Castro has been amazing
Cashner has been above average
Pena's turned it on recently
Silva sucks
Z and Garz aren't using their full arsenal of pitches yet.

i dont get 9-14...But i see Cubs winning 80-85 games cause of pitching. If they have AVERAGE defense and AVERAGE hitting i could see them winning 90

Our pitching isn't good enough to single-handedly give us 90 wins. We have a good staff, but we aren't the 2010 Padres.

I think our offense is better than we're getting credit for. Fuku has a high OBP, Starlin's legit, Byrd is solid, Soto's reliable...and it's not like Sori and A-Ram can't play. Pena will hit better this year than he did last, obviously...Our offense can win us several games.

still wish we had a lead-off hitter, tho...Ichiro should prolly leave Seattle for the North side.

I'm thankful I expect absolutely nothing from a team that hasn't won shit since the telegraph was the main form of communication. Cashner contributing would be a huge plus b/c it would confirm they can draft/develop pitchers, something we didn't have a decade ago...a real farm system.

A Trib article comes to mind I cannot find at the moment. It was dead on by stating the season rests on AS and Ram. That's not necessarily a bad thing b/c both are capable, but are they willing to make the sacrifices necessary to win?. Neither player has shown heart in past, in fact neither showed up when it counted during post-season play.

If they don't perform, I'll be griping once again about contract guarantees...lol.
