Hopefully I'll be around my computer at game time...sucks that it isn't on TV yet but soon enough.

I'm looking forward to watching McNeil, Hayes, Saad and Danault - all guys who I don't expect to get a whiff of the big time this year but should be nice to watch.

Also looking forward to seeing Olesz, Smith, Stalberg, and Kruger - all guys who are battling for a couple spots on the team.

I am hoping Beach doesn't act like a moron and maybe he improved his foot speed since the last time I saw him.

After that, I guess I just hope for no injuries.

Lets go Hawks. I'd like to see Stalberg and Olesz on a line together

Wait, didn't the season just end last night? I think I saw Vancouver riot pics on the news.

It's only preseason, let him protect the guys

I thought that's why we have Emery trying out?

I hate the fact that Scott being on the team this year is actually a possibility...even if he is in a suit for the most part.

Even moreso than Cullimore, Boynton, or even Exelby?

Seems like a bit of a stretch, as the guy has about the same spot (or lower) on the Hawk's depth chart as, probably, Exelby (which of course no one saw in preseason last year as he wasn't signed until after the season began, and never got called up from Rockford).

Yes, I am saying that if he was signed before the season, you would have seen that guy playing in at least one pre-season game, none of which mean anything.

^^^ Trust me, I don't have an issue with Scott playing in a pre-season game...pre-season games are pretty much worthless for a player like Scott. The Emery comment was a joke...

I have a problem with the fact that John Scott may be on this team come regular season.

Atleast Exelby, Boynton, or Cullimore could actually teach something to the younger players or other guys in training camp. Those guys actually had a career in the NHL, which is why I was really happy to see both Cullimore and Exelby on the Hogs last year.

Scott really has no business being in the NHL, period.

We need to stop wasting roster spots on useless bums like him.
