"A better place? What is it?" A construct to help cope with grief, but that's not important right now

Leslie Nielson is there right now. A funny man that will be missed.

I can remember coming across Creepshow on tv when I was a young fella. I didn't know what it was, but I saw Leslie Nielson, and thought Man, this is gonna be funny. How wrong i was. I kept waiting for something silly to happen, and it never did.

A+ thread title. I also would have accept "God Bless, We're all Mourning For You."

Actually Creepshow was kinda funny... just not zany humor - dark humor.

On a similar note, I remember the first time I saw The Forbidden Planet and couldn't believe it was a movie where Leslie Nielsen was being serious.

Regardless, he will be missed. May the angels see him in.... and not call him Shirley.

He also played a serious character on an episode of MASH.
