Anyways... can't be too pissed about this game... can you imagine a 7 game series between these two teams? AWESOME!
Great display of team toughness and resiliency.
Not sure where the energy was in the first 2 periods but man that 3rd period was INTENSE and playoff like... enjoyed every second of it.
Hopefully this is a rallying point in the season based on a lot of things that happened during the course of the game.
Hawks will ROLL Montreal tomorrow.

Hawks looked like shit for 40 minutes and decided to show up in the last 20. Thanks to the late push this game will have a better taste than if they had just mailed it in for a full 60. It still bugs me that this team just got outworked by a depleted Pens team. And the check by Engeland on Krüger ought to get a major and a suspension and yet the Hawks end up on the PK, absolutely brutal officiating tonight. Oh well. Bury the Habs tomorrow.

With a healthy line-up the Hawks would get stomped so much it wouldn't even be funny. Look at the injury trouble the Pens have been having the past year and look how well they played. Now imagine how they would play with a healthy line-up. The Hawks couldn't squeak a win from them when they had an injury list the length of my arm, including missing the best player in the game.
