Hope they don't take this game for granted and come out with the same drive an energy the've had the last 10 games or so. A flat game against a team in a downward spiral could bring the momentum to a halt.



Having said that, just win. an ugly 2 points is still 2 points.

I what nothing more them Hawks start a big winning streak, But I also want them to stick at the 6th seed, I IMO just feel like thats their best shot at advancing to the second round rather then finishing fifth and facing Wings or Nashville. Not saying the Hawks can't beat those teams but I think It would not take that much out of them going into the second round.

Hawks match up better against detroit. Nashvilles a 2nd round team that will hand out a more physical series. Although a good tight physical opening round never hurt anyone. Detroit is old and has some injury issues to top players we can wear them down in a series in my opinion plus it would be better hockey.
