Joel Quenneville ruled out the possibility of Dave Bolland[/b] and Ray Emery[/b] returning to the lineup for game one of the Western Conference Quarter-finals vs. the Minnesota Wild after Monday's morning skate.

Michal Handzus[/b] was spotted taking regular shifts in between Patrick Sharp[/b] and Patrick Kane[/b] in place of Bolland. Henrik Karlsson[/b] was in the net opposite of Corey Crawford[/b], despite the fact that Carter Hutton[/b] started the season finale vs. the St. Louis Blues and could indicate that Karlsson may back-up Crawford for the time being.

It would seem that now that Rockford is done playing, Karlsson can come be the real backup? Which is strange to me because why didn't he start last game? I guess maybe they didn't like what they saw from Hutton but he had Rockford in front of him so what do you expect?

Karlsson has more experience. I'm not surprised at the way this is turning out. They gave Hutton his one game as a gift to the guy, he didn't really play too well, but that was expected IMO since it was his first game. But, if it comes down to the best option, I think it has to be Karlsson.

Definitely the best option... but I would have liked to tune him up a bit vs. the blows. For now, I'm just going to pray we don't need him.
