Probably because he made the team last year right out of the gate. Only to get hurt in the Worlds and never really return after injury.



Maybe you missed all those games where he played very well with Toews? Not to mention the organization has always been very high on him since the trade. They didn't want to trade him to us in the first place, but it was the price for guys who had just won the Stanley Cup.
