My favorite teams
Started the afternoon excited about the draft, hopeful, but expecting all the QBs to go early, and hoping to pick up a good OT in round 1.
Then got the news that Rodgers wants out of GB. That alone made it a good day.
Then we see Fields fall to 11, pull the trigger, and get Fields, without overpaying. A first and fifth this year, first and fourth next year, is a very good price for that move up.
Stafford, out of the NFC North.
Rodgers wants to leave the Packers, and if he gets traded, almost certainly out of the division.
Cousins staying put.
Bears draft Justin Fields.
That's a good day.
Now, it's possible that Fields gets some freak injury and never delivers, or just doesn't play anywhere near the way he did in college. But we got what looks to be like a great QB for a fair price, and that's something we can't say we've experienced since, umm, Sid Luckman.
Go Bears.
