I'm thinking about moving back to the states - its 50/50 for now. However, Im not sure where I'd like us to live, Colorado (Boulder, Ft. Collins) is "high" on the list. A Place like Rochester, MN, having the Mayo Clinic and future growth outlooks seems like an potential suitor as well. My only problem with MN, is that their Medical Marijuana law is in its infancy and doesnt cater to my ideals of MM.
Any mid to small cities/town you prefer? Id rather stay out of the city center, such as Denver in Colorado, but wouldnt mind living 45m to an hr or so away ala the likes of Boulder/Ft. Collins as I stated.
Ive never lived in Oregon, Maine, nor Washington st, but a small coastal town may be nice.
A liberal view on Medical marijuana is a must, which limits the choices for sure. Ive always be fond of certain NC towns and its sad their views are too conservative on the matter.
The wife is open to a lot of choices, but wants the yadda yaddas. decent educations, good healthcare, low crime. She doesnt want it too cold year round so mn is on the lower side. IDk if i wanna pay IL taxes.
Austin, Texas.
i have lived there before. i have some family there too. if tx would go mm i would give it another go.. f the rest of the state though..well id probably move further out west towards New Braunfels.
schlitterbahn n bongs.. yep
The Aussie government is 20 yrs behind in terms of mm and the stigma associated with marijuana in general. They've only recently passed a vote to start a clinical trial. Those who can participate are limited. The criminal laws and enforcement vary state to state here but its still illegal. The old school conservatives here are that.. old and conservative. most avg aussie have no issues with weed.
Colorado is more about than just about the bud. Thats just part of it, my wife could benefit from the cbd oils for sure. Colorado is a liveable state for the most part, affordale in lots of areas, decent hospitals/schools and is tax friendly compared to other places. The only thing that im concerned about in colorado is fracking. My wife has some friends in the springs and i have some in ft collins.. so thats a plus too. I can also picket the broncos demanding they take jay back.
Maine is nice, my friend in hs kept trying to get me to move up with there with him, he swore by it. However, he only stayed there for 5 years.. girl problems will do that i suppose.. so bad you gotta leave the state sometimes.
Yeah scoot they look nice too.. been looking at places around Portland. i havent looked at Washington yet.. i have some family in seattle.. but thats NOT a plus.. nahhh we just arent close.
My wife loves Indiana of all places. I took her to see James Deans grave years ago and she feel in love with all the green farm land and old school farm houses.. i vote no, jays from there. and the bud issue.
