Will Iverson ever play again? If so, where?

Whatever he chooses to do I think he still has a future in this league for a long time. Perhaps he will be a good coach or GM one day.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Can't say I'm surprised...I'm not. Honestly, what did he think he was going to do when he signed that contract, did he really never talk to the coach about his role? If Iverson ever plays again in this league, it will be coming off the bench, so he has to accept that as his role or retire.

What makes you think he will be a good coach or gm? If anything he will be the first coach to ditch his own practices.

In my opinion this whole AI situation is one of the most disgusting things I have ever witnessed as a basketball fan. I stuck by AI through thick and thin trying to defend this guys legacy and prove to everyone that he was really great, but AI proved me wrong at every turn. Personally I think this should be good reason for him to never get into the hall of fame.

Thats why we have seen the last of him, AI still sees himself as a starter, 35mpg guy, he is not ready to give up being the man.

He SHOULD go to the Hall of Fame though...you couldn't name a better scoring small shooting guard in NBA history. His legacy is tarnished a bit but he was one of the toughest, most dynamic players in the history of the league. It is sad that he goes out like this...

The people i feel the worst for are the die-hard fans who bought home Iverson jerseys. He never wore it once. Man that's a lot of wasted cloth.

Memphis can have a car wash night, where fans' cars can be washed using Iverson Grizzles jerseys and proceeds going to charity

Hell no!

Who would let him coach their team? "We talkin' 'bout practice! Not a game...practice!"

I don't think so...

I concur. If they won't let Rodman into the Hall they shouldn't let Iverson in. If they let Rodman in they've got to let Iverson in.

Although in played in one or two early on when he started bleaching his hair and getting tattooed he was kept off All-Star teams when he was averaging like 18 rebounds a game and Jayson Williams was an All-Star averaging 12.

A part of me agrees with the decision, the other half cries "Why should someone who HAS All-Star numbers be kept off because of personality?"

Your thoughts.

Wait...wait...wait...

Iverson IS a hall of famer. He WAS a GREAT player in his prime and a legit franchise player.

The idea that he and Rodman are somehow intertwined makes no sense to me. They had two distinctly different careers.

His bitchin' about playing time is not a good reason to keep him out of the Hall of Fame. He is bitchin' about playing time! He isn't doing anything illegal. For the last couple of years he has been a bad teammate and hasn't been cooperative. He was a stud for most of his career and that is what the Hall should remember.

1997 Iverson, along with his friends, were stopped by policemen for speeding late at night and was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and for possession of marijuana.

On February 24, 2004, Iverson, a noted regular casino patron, was spotted at Bally's Park Place in Atlantic City urinating in a trash can in full view of staff and patrons. He was told by casino management not to return.

I know that the Hall of Fame isn't exactly squeaky clean...I just wish they would let you in regardless of personality.

Iverson absolutely belongs. He is the greatest scoring little man ever.

Ever!

I was referring to recent events, not his whole career.

If getting caught with drugs was a prerequisite for banning from the HOF, it would be empty.
