I know Samardzija has had better numbers this season, but I don't want to see him pitch.

Why not? I know he has stuggle, but you have to give him another chance. He has a 2nd pitch. When he has beein in the majors, he had 1 pitch. The Cubs have Coleman, Russell, Mateo and even Berg are not too great. Maybe. you can take Bergo out of that but they aren't good and it'd time to see if Jeff has improved. I'm not a fan of him and probably will never be.

This will be what, his fourth "second pitch". Coming into this season they were saying he developed a curveball, which I never saw.

Maybe he does have a second pitch this time, but I don't really buy it. He's tried a split-finger, a slider, a curveball, and now a cutter. So far, 0-3.

Scouts have said it's a good pitch. He really never had a curverball. But, scouts said it's a good pitch and it's working for him. He throws 87-90mph and gets a lot of swinging strikes. We'll never know until we see him again.
