In the spirit of the NFL draft, it's fun to go back and look at what analysts, scouts, and media had to say about the player at the time. I found the scouting reports on Jeffery entertaining to read for sure. Some interesting articles as well....

"Emery liked him enough not only to use a second-round pick, but also to sacrifice a fifth-rounder to move up in the round to grab him. It's the kind of move that draws attention to and gives us important insight into Emery's values. This is a player he really, really liked and has committed to. That makes Alshon Jeffery the first boom or bust player in Emery's tenure as the Bears' general manager. We'll see how it goes."

I did not like Jeffery in the first but like Sutton this year he was a steal in the later rounds.

weird because the year before, he was considered a 1st rounder...a year after, people thought he'd bust. smh...I have the same feeling about Sutton as I did about drafting Alshon. Hopefully Sutton turns out like I thought Alshon would

I am hoping for this as well. If Sutton can be disruptive we may have a good defense on our hands.

I'm still in a "wait and see" mode for Ashlon Jerries. I'm not sold.

I facepalmed so hard when Marshall Faulk called him Jeffries during the first round the other day.

Not good value. That's for sure.
