The Blackhawks welcome a slew of old teammates back to Chicago when they take on the Florida Panthers. The Panthers a surprise team this year will try to take down the Blackhawks and end the Blackhawks six game point streak. Rookie Andrew Shaw has been on a tear, scoring five goals in his first eight NHL games and his rookie teammate Jimmy Hayes has 4 goals in his first ten NHL games. Ray Emery will get some much needed work and will be in net for the Blackhawks Friday night.

FUN FUN FUN!!!

I suspect a lot of Panther players will get a good reception.

Hope for an open game which I suspect it will be. Both goalies will be well tested I suspect.

With that said it will probably be a 2-1 boring game cause I am always wrong.

Jose Theodore didn't do too well in Colorado the other night... I'm expecting a high scoring game as a result.

I also wonder if anyone will recognize the ugliness that is "Verbeauty".... That new look for him is ugly.... not Ricci ugly, but up there. No one could ever reach the ugliness that is Ricci.

Will be 5-3, Hawks barely win, and that's only cause it looks like Emery will be starting. If it were Craw back there, I'd give Florida an extra goal....

... and "Seven-thirty o'clock"? Never heard of that term before.

That makes no sense. I stroke off to a lot of the Hawks. Almost everyone of them. Only like a handfull of Panthers.

So by your theory the Panthers will win like 8-1 (I am not going to tell you which Hawk I do not stroke off to)

Bickell.

Also hawks win, the cats are good but not good enough to run with the premiere teams of the NHL just yet

Yup, Chicago is currently under siege due to a snow storm.

9 inches is a "siege" all of a sudden.... Just wow...

Man, these weathermen need to grow a pair. This weather is nothing compared to last years blizzard.... and its just a snowstorm, not a wind-filled one. What's the big deal? -.-

And looking at the "official" total, it was only 5.5 inches. Most places saw 7 inches or less...I agree, that's nothing. My buddy in Missoula, Montana, just got out from under 16 inches there this week. THAT'S a snowtorm....or let's go back to January of '67 when, I believe, 23 inches hit Chicago.

It's not a big deal but the problem was that the plows seemed to be over-allocated to Lake Shore Drive to compensate for what happened in SnOwMG last year. It took me over 90 minutes to drive (and yes, I would have taken the train if I could have) home after work, from downtown to Wrigleyville. For non-Chicagoans, that's about 5 1/2 miles. Oh well, it's part of living in Chicago in the winter, but that is why the game was delayed.

Yea the Panthers bus arrived shortly after 6pm. Most of the Hawks were an hour late. That's why the game was delayed.

It took us 5 hours to go 30 miles. I left at 2:30 arrived at the UC about 6:30 or so. It wasn't the amount of the snow, it was the timing and traffic.

Worst drive into a hockey game I can remember since I've been going in 35 years.

It's been an extremely mild winter for all of Montana. Glacier National Park is several feet below average right now. They've not had much snow this year.

Yep...he told me that, until this storm, they've had a fairly calm winter in Missoula.
