The Blackhawks look to rebound in their back to back matchup with the Nashville Predators. The Predators ended up beating the Hawks rather easily after both teams were playing it close until a 100 ft goal was scored by the Predators and after that it was no looking back for the Predators.

The Hawks will have to get revenge without their best player; Toews will not play after being listed with an upper body injury which is assumed a wrist injury suffered in their game against the Panthers last week. Early word is Crawford will be in net for this game after his abysmal play against the Predators Saturday night; Crawford was pulled for Emery after giving up his fourth goal in the second period. Patrick Kane will also have to step up his game with the Captain sitting out and with Sharp already on the IR.

Not feeling good about this. If the Hawks can win this game without Sharp and Toews, then I would feel much better about this team. On the other hand, the Hawks are still among the top teams in the league, it's just the crazy Central division will make them jump around in the standings depending on how they and the other Central teams are doing.

We lose tonight and I believe we drop to 6th in the conference. St. Louis, Detroit, and Nashville are all on long winning streaks.

The Wangs cut the Blues winning streak last night. Now up to 7 in a row. And this team was supposed to be old and declining. Why can't the Hawks perform as well as the Wangs year in and year out. Will the Wangs ever be middle of the pack and even struggle to get a playoff spot? It's been over 20 years now. I am frankly starting to get tired of the Wangs being so good every year.

I believe this game will go as the Team D goes--and we're missing one of our best D-minded forwards.

I think it won't matter who is in net, this will be a game I think that will be lower scoring and could be 2-1 or 1-0. If we fail to play well in our back end, we'll come out with a loss and a goalie with PTSD.

Time to see what Q is made of.

Play physical tonight and they will win even without Toews.

This is the last game before a good long all-star break rest up. So if they come out flat and allowing the Preds to beat the shit out of them on the puck like the last game then TCD will be mad!!! Play it like it's a playoff game!!! There is no excuse for any lazy play tonight by anyone.

I assume Bickell will get his shot again tonight and Kane will probably be playing 1st line center?

What a mess when we lose a center on this club.

Just win!!! I don't care if its a boring win either..just win!!!

This is the game that Kane should step in and take control of, I really hope he is finding his grove. As for the game I don't know just get the points any which way you can at this point.

Interesting lineup, by the way TON I think you can turn Shaw's Jersey around now... of course, it may jinx him!

Speaking of jersey's I fucking hate the child predators yellow jersey! ugliest jersey ever, right up there with the old flying v of Van.

Just win baby, Just win.

I'd like to see some revenge for the slash on Toews (without a penalty though, a huge clean hit would be nice).

Ohhh that is juicy stuff. Bolland centering Kane. That should be freaking interesting.

I really think the Hawks can win this game if they can be a little bit more intense for it.

Close, Mass. The Aborted St. Louis one is far and beyond the ugliest afterbirth ever to be secreted on the hockey fans. The child preds' and the V are pretty damned close, though.

The interesting part is: Toews, Sharp and Carcillo injured... 5 rookies in the line-up... and still no Bickell.

I think so Ton. Not shocked he isn't in though tonight if we needed a center. But you gotta think it has to be eating away at him a little bit seeing all the guys from the farm get the call up.

Hawks really have to do the right thing and try to find a deal which will send him off somewhere that might play him. Even if it's only a 10th rounder in return. No use having him eat up time in the press box like this. Maybe Columbus or someone could use him.
