Blackhawks host the league leading Red Wings. The Wings come into the UC after setting a NHL record 23 straight home wins. Detroit has not fared well on the road so the Blackhawks will be looking to cool them down with their recent hot play from Chicagos’ top four, who have been putting up points in their current mini winning streak of three games. It will be interesting to see if everyone’s lucky charm (John Scott) will be needed against the Red Wings.

Time to start playing for playoff positioning and this game would be a good place to continue on the winning streak and to add more confidence. I think its goind to be a doozie of a game.

Not predicting a score or a win or anything. Just going to sit back and let this game be. I suspect a highly offensive game though. Datsyuk is looking like a league MVP again, Hawks are going to busy with that guy.

I can hope for a win but realistically I just want them to play a good. If they lose but still look like they gave it everything then I'll say the funk is officially over until then, we might still be funky

A win would do wonders for the Hawks confidence and momentum. And if they lose, they better not do so without a fight. Not going to be an easy match however it goes.

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Going to be a huge test for the new system in place for our boys. Hoping they can pull it out because, after all, it is Detroit and we all hate losing to America's septic tank.

LET'S GO HAWKS!!!!

Dan Cleary not playing is Huge, his net presense will be one less headache to deal with. Hawks 4-2 open netter.

Keith isn't on either of the PP units?

Against the Red Wings he will be, but for a game or two he was not in practice, waiting for confirmation on PP units. If Q isn't juggling the regular lines, he's got to dip into the PP... it's been a juggle the last 3 games.

Hawks and Wings will be without a top center, Datsyuk out for 2 weeks with knee surgery.

Line-up is changing by the minute, will have it in a few moments.
