I haven't seen him make the mistake of catching the ball as he steps back into foul territory in a bit. Nice to see him being teachable.

It was interesting how the ESPN broadcasters assessed him, especially the part in which they talked about how already he is one of the leaders of the team.

Its crazy how much plate coverage that he has. And his ability to track the ball until the last second and then whip his hands at it. Do you guys see
what happened on the inside pitch that he brought his hands in and hit a single to left? that is a great example. The old vet Paulie did it
when he roped that high and inside pitch for his base clearing double. Paulie, to me, is one of the best technical hitters ever to play the
game and Abreau has the same kind of ability.
