I can see why Rios can't hit sometimes. He looks like he is awkwardly sitting on air when he is at the plate.

Clearly he overworked his appendix in the last offseason.

I'm not sure I've ever seen an appendectomy have such an effect on a sports figure. Not that it's all the surgery...but man...he's fallen off the face of the sports-planet.

He already gets enough of a workout every time he comes to the plate. Swinging and missing is a gret exercise.

For those that want Dunn to sit, there aren't many good options to replace him. Viciedo has been hitting terribly lately, so that wouldn't be a good time to call him up.

BL is an option, so is Paulie. CQ, actually having dunn is like having thome, no way to rest defensive players while keeping his bat.

And for the record, I'd take our pitchers vs Adam this year. SO really, every option except him playing more is better.

I see what you're saying, but I don't really agree.

Lillibridge is very streaky. When he's hot, he's good and he hits homers and gets on base. The problem is that he isn't hot very often and when he's cold he is terrible.

Right now Konerko can't play first, so he has taken the DH roll. The only other first baseman we have is Dunn. Lillibridge did play there, but I feel safer with Dunn.

So like I said, there is nobody to replace Dunn right now. I have no problem keeping Dunn in there. He has been better and the other options aren't great.
