Yeah, why is SF firing him? This season isn't lost; his previous years have buttressed him into safety. Making SBs (albeit losing them) including the one last year, and NFC championship games--but 5-5 this year means he's fired? SF isn't incompetent.

Rank understands the hype-express side of the business. Be the loudest, dumbest person in the room, and all eyes will be on you. It doesn't matter that what comes out of his mouth is nothing but a mudslide of unsubstantiated diarrhea and bile, which he will continue to spew long afterward because there are no repercussions for being a straight up, bold-faced liar anymore.

Its been CCS for the last month. You can thank our media for it, they are absolutely the worst.

I posted a thread about Shanahan coming to Chicago based on ramblings from 49ers pundits saying he should be fired. Nothing factual or even rumors. Next thing you know, I see Bears media pundits talking about Shanahan actually coming to Chicago.

Yeah...ID hire him in a heart beat but make him hammer up a plan to give the defense to someone else 100% like Ditka did with Buddy.

Just be an offensive coordinator and handle game day situational duties. Don't mess with that half of the locker room.

Hire a good head coach who picks his GM and works closely with them.

This is the route the bears never take and think they are justified.
