Making that zone modern is best news that part of the city has heard for a long time.

That's very true, Brett. But what it is, is yet another way to draw people into the area surrounding the ballpark. Something that is sorely lacking at US Cellular.

Another positive addition for the Cubs.

Reminds me of the ice cream truck comes down the block... everyone gets an ice cream except for that guy, sorry Brett, the Sox are lacking so much. :cubstroll2:

It is lacking, but again, not sports related really. It's actually political.

Awesome! Long gone are the days with silly fans making fun of urinals, the rebuild, and the Cubs team in general. Wrigleyville is gonna be a huge attraction for Chicago moving forward.

I have to hand it to Rickets, he's building an empire. Between hiring a World Series caliber Front Office, renovating Wrigley, and developing the land surrounding the ballpark -- he's truly doing it all.

His vision was aggressive -- almost to the point of unrealistic. But he has managed to preserve through all the ugly red tape and is legitimately breaking through. If Rickets pull this off and we win a World Series, he could go down as the greatest owner in Chicago sports history. Between him and Rocky Wirtz, we are on the brink of entering a Golden Age in Chicago.

The only thing that saddens me is Ron Santo isn't here to see this. I know he's looking down on Addison and Clark from Heaven, with tears of joy streaming down his face.
