No, not those toys...hobby toys.
I purchased one of these, and took it to a flying field today. Under normal circumstances, one should begin RC planes with a cub trainer...otherwise known as a high-wing or Cessna. However, modern technology allows one to learn with an autopilot...although I found out you can still screw-up enough to break a landing gear. So now I will be repairing this plane and reinforcing said gears.
Did pretty good for someone with zero aviation background and no simulator experience. Flying even an RC plane is not as easy as I had imagined. I'll be spending the summer learning flight before buying my second plane, which will be a Focke-Wolf 190 gas powered 4-stroke.
Anyone else into hobbies here?, be it a plane car, heli, drone whatever...please feel free to share:
