Play high school football, assist a coach in college while getting a sports management degree, hump the boonies as a scout for a few years out of college, entry level assist a coach for a couple of years, move up to the front office as an assistant to the gm, go to law school at night concentrating on contracts then be ready to be an experienced GM in your late 30s.
