When this show first aired i like it seeing how this family with 7 kids coped living off the grid in Alaska.
The series started out how they would have to barter to get what they needed by trading or working it off because they did not have the funds.
They always seemed to have nice new chainsaws or nice generators, but act like they have to go to the local dump for their supplies.
They talk about how to do it the ( bush way). They use that term a little to freely.
Go build your house out of tires you Fucking Moron , or notch a tree so it falls back on your chainsaw you hooch smoking imbecile.
Yeah talk living off the bush and the one kid , Gabe, has new braces.
Now they live in Washington high in the mountains with all the equipment to build another one of their dream houses.
I know the old man has published a few books but at least dont think we are that stupid to fall for this farce. Well wait i been a Bears fan for 40 years so.............
I watch the show with my wife now so i can point out the right way to do things. She thinks im smart.:smug2:

I like that show about the tuna fishermen where there's like 5 300 lb guys and 2 200 lb rottweilers on a boat scramblin around trying to reel in a big one. I'm like, wtf there's no way these guys ever eat tuna wtf!

The Alaskan Bush family look like they belong in a trailer trash reality show. I watched the show for a few minutes, can't believe someone thought they were interesting.

Their son Bear is worth watching. That's an interesting character to say the least.

My plan was to take wife and kids to live in Alaska when i retired, so i was interested in the show. Well the plans have changed but i still watch the show, but i watch it now for the stupid ways some of the kids act. I'm addicted to watching stupid shit on t.v. I also like Street Outlaws.
