A lot of people believe that Michael Jordan is to blame for the murder of his father, James Jordan.

Some people out there think that Jordan's hardcore gambling led him to great debt, and his failure and/or refusal to pay-up led to bookies murdering his father.

Some also believe that David Stern secretly suspended Jordan from the NBA for a year or two after it became apparent of his gambling tendencies.

Is all^ that true? My guess is probably not... but it's definitely fathomable. Especially in light of this new evidence- or lack-there-of...

Jordan had a lot of great attributes and a lot of reasons to admire the man. But he was far from perfect. The guy had a HUGE ego, was an adulterer, and compulsive high-rolling gambler.

If this really WAS a conspiracy.... we are talking the biggest cover-up since 9/11 (allegedly).

...and furthermore, let's think about this. Wasn't the original story that James Jordan was shot by a couple guys in a robbery inside his car, and they checked his I.D. and freaked out after they somehow "knew" who he was...? That also seems a tad far-fetched to me.

Let's not pretend Jordan was Ghandi here. I could totally picture the guy as too stubborn to pay off his mob debts until it was already too late.

the NBA did launch a full investigation on Jordan right before he retired, so I am reading. And at a press conference, Jordan said (partial quote) that he would 'come back if x, y, z, and Stern allowed him to come back.'

"Allow" - interesting choice of words...

1 of 2 things just happened here. You either....

A. Compared the murder of a man whose only claim to fame is that his sperm was part of the creation of the best basketball player to ever walk the Earth, to a terrorist attack that killed 3,000 people

or

B. You revealed yourself as some fucking 9-11 Conspiracy Theorist twat.

Obviously I'm not comparing 9/11 with the death of James Jordan...we all know 9/11 was unbelievably horiffic on a massive scale nonetheless.

I'm just comparing the reactions by the general media if something was discovered that there was a cover-up somewhere along the line in either event.

I honestly can't think of 1 tragic event over the past twenty years that would be seen as big of a story than that about an apparent cover-up of the 9/11 attacks or about a cover-up as to the reason Jordan's father was killed.

By the way, I'm open-minded as to how the events of 9/11 unfolded. I'm not a nut, but I believe there are a lot of questions that have not been answered in a satisfactory way. And calling people names is not a satisfactory solution either. Prove conspiracy theorists wrong with facts; not how Foxnews tries to (with slander).

Obviously not, but you did say that a 'cover-up' on a scale like that is comparable. How a single murder can compare to 3,000 murders is a reasoning that I would love to read.

I can imagine it would be a big 'yawn.'

Princess Diana
Olympic Bombing in 1996
Waco
Ruby Ridge
2000 Election
Oklahoma City

And those are just off the top of my head when I'm trying to rush through this post because I have somewhere to be. I mean, you really can't think of another event. Really??

Here is all the proof I need to prove any conspiracy theorist wrong: They are all alive.

If, and I realize this is just one of the many conspiracies out there, the government was so willing to kill 3,000 of its own citizens, then why would they keep alive a single conspiracy wing nut?

But since I love these type of things.....I'll bite. What is a conspiracy and/or question that needs to be answered?

I'm not going to discuss the events of 9/11 any further than what I already have on this forum. And I have not heard a lot of possibly-legitimate conspiracy theories about any of the things you forementioned, dude.

This is a useless endeavor, in part because Rami is not saying that either James Jordan's murder, or the 9/11 tragedy were conspiracies. He is saying that if they were conspiracies, it would be huge news. You provided several good examples of alleged conspiracies that would be bigger news than the Jordan murder.

But, also, pretty much by definition, you can't prove conspiracy nuts wrong. No matter how much evidence you present to prove them wrong, they will say that your evidence is fabricated and that the evidence in their favor is being covered up. That's what makes it a conspiracy. You can't prove that something (their evidence) doesn't exist.

"Here is all the proof I need to prove any conspiracy theorist wrong: They are all alive."

That's literally one of the dumbest statements I've ever read.

They don't need to kill someone posting on a Chicago Bulls thread just because they mentioned 9/11. That's ridiculous!

Besides they let the sheep police themselves. They count on people like yourself just going with whatever you are told by the television without questioning anything.

Notice how you immediately retaliated above, not with facts, but by referring to Ramithe bullsfan as a "conspiracy theorist twat". That's about as unintelligent of a response as it gets.

Name call. Discredit. Laugh at. That's how it's done.

What is NEVER done, especialy on television, is to actually deal with the facts.

Your mindless response is explanation enough of why we will never get the answers this country needs.

Though he didn't directly call me a conspiracy theorist twat... I agree with absolutely everything you said.

It's a damn shame how apathetic people are to the corrupt media and government in general. Prope's response didn't impress me either. I didn't even get behind a theory or anything... so it's not like you can shoot me down on my individual 9/11 beliefs when I didn't say them. And why would I when there are so many sheep willing to scapegoat anybody who criticizes/questions my country as a nut or un-American? Ha... as if.
