This is why I hate fan all star voting. Just look at the shambles of the NHL all star voting. Ming even made it last year. I wish people would just vote for who they think deserves it as opposed to all their team's players.

Actually "fans" just vote who they know more often than not. And since voting is open world wide, any Chinese players for instance is going to get a billion votes like Yao Ming always did. Thats why voting should become like it is for the NFL Pro Bowl. A 3rd is fan voting, 3rd coaches, and a 3rd players. Add it all up and you get a well rounded team for the most part.
