Always thought their beef was overrated. Tony's is very good. Fresh cut fries rule all shit though.

I like Al's and think that Portillos is more the mediocre beef, but don't think Al's is that great or anything. I would read al's, dislike portillos, and +rep mr.beef and most beefs from italian delis that make their money off of subs...

I like Al's as well. Very generous portions and awesome giardiniera and great fries.

Portillios is below average for me.

Not had a Mr. Beef, but there is one a few blocks away from my Downtown so I am willing to give it a whirl.
