Stumbled across this article on FB this morning...



While it's easy to find the ridiculousness of the situation - I have to wonder if there is more to the story? I have to believe an employee in their right mind couldn't see this turning into a PR nightmare for AA.



If true, totally reprehensible maneuver by the airlines...

I agree, it's a horrible story. But I can't form a complete educated opinion without seeing the whole uncut video. We have no idea what the child was doing before he was seated. I don't want to give the airline the benefit of the doubt but I have a hard time thinking that anyone would look at a child with downs syndrome sitting there like he was with his hat and saying no you can't get on the plane. Too much missing information from both sides, it's a clusterfuck for the airline either way. And I'm not saying the parents are to blame either, it's just an unfortunate incident all the way around.
