An artist lady wants to paint a picture of me

I'm at a local art gallery tonight covering the opening of a new exhibition. One of the artists there was taken by my dapper dress and asked if I would model for her. I, of course, said yes and gave her my business card. A little facebook stalking later I discover she is 55 (but she looks GREAT) and married. I wonder if she's looking to do more than paint me....

I was wearing a sport coat, black button down shirt, gray dress pants, black dress shoes and gray fedora. I think the hat is what made this lady notice me.

Maybe you could get some extra work modeling for local adds or something. Did she say what she planned to use the portrait for?

Maybe she wants to go all reverse titanic and draw you all natural. If you make it to the storage area. Remember, the car is very cold. Don't make hand prints on any windows.

You get to be painted and put into a gallery (or someone's home) to be stared at. and get some. You can just keep your eyes closed. Seems like a win-win to me.

Thats funny, i used to be an art major and am still into art but I am probably the least artsy person ever. i.e. I cant stand "art" that sucks, but they try to pass it off as good just because its "art". Like it doesn't matter if it sucks, as long as its art, its good, I hate that shit.





On topic, it probably is she just wants to paint you, but on the other hand no one knows whats going on in the head of those bohemian wierdos.

Let her paint you, but make some demands. For instance, you must have the painting. Not the original, as that is the artists, but a painting of the painting. Next, demand that there be some food and water during the session. Sometimes they can run a long time and you will get hungry and thirsty. Which leads to the next demand, mandatory bathroom breaks every hour and a half, or at your discretion, not to exceed more then twice in and hour and a half time period. Finally, if she wants nude or or partial nudity, it should be written in to the rider that she must service you.
