not really.. even if there was, he'd probably get more than the vet min which is all we'd offer. He'll likely look to sign with a team that can offer more PT and money. We won't really offer either.. especially since Thibs likes playing Deng 55 minutes a game.

After today's signings/finalizations(official 12 man roster), it's impossible for the Bulls to sign AK47 for his "minimum" price. A team will be willing to pay Kirilenko what he wants.

Now, if we used the injured player loophole on Rose to regain some of that space, we could easily offer him $3m/year (and TBH, I'm not sure if the Bulls are eligible). Now, we can offer him $1.352m/y. I read somewhere that he might take $2m for team of choice.

For the price we can offer, I'd definitely take him. The thing is though, if you want to develop Butler, Kirilenko is going to cut a lot into that, unless you see lots of Butler at SG or lots of small lineups with Kirilenko at PF. Both are viable, but something's gonna give.

Though given Deng's injury history and the probability that he'll be out to start the season, AK47 would be a nice fit to slide right in and get that PT right away. Who knows...maybe his presence would cut Deng's minutes a little bit...:andruw:

I heard Kirilenko is looking for around 8 million annually. He thinks highly of himself.

Adrian Wojnarowski: Minnesota is finalizing a two-year, $20 million contract with free agent forward Andrei Kirilenko, league sources tell Y! Sports.

Looks like AK47 wasn't thinking THAT highly of himself.
