The last thing I heard he wasn’t coming back this season., that was on tsn 690 Montreal.

It sounded like Montreal liked Shaw so much, they did not want to be the franchise to watch him end his career.

Shaw was an absolutely stupid idea from the get-go -- I hated the move when it was announced.

There was a report about six weeks ago that he was going to be kept out the rest of the season and when StanBo was question he said something along the lines of, really, who said that? I had not heard he has been ruled out for the remained of the season.
I have been hoping that he could get back in the line up in enough time to trade him at the deadline so StanBo could get something back for the 2nd and 3rd round picks he threw away. But it doesn't look like that is going to happen.

I doubt he would have traded him anyway, after just attaining him in the off-season. That would normally not be a good look for a GM, even though everyone already knows he's a dumb ass.
